B. Scott Short: Founder and President of CenState Contractors, Inc. He is a “hands on” manager, overseeing all operations of the company from personnel to projects and all business and financial matters.
Chris Groo: Senior Project Manager and Estimator, is responsible for all aspects of project estimating and management. He attends prebid, preconstruction and project meetings and is responsible for buying materials and equipment as well as reviewing and processing shop drawings. He visits on-going projects and meets regularly with the field superintendents. He maintains the project scheduling and works up the monthly pay applications for processing. He is in constant communication with owners, engineers, inspectors, subcontractors and suppliers.
Dale Palmberg: Project Manager/Estimator has the majority of the same duties as Mr. Groo, taking on more responsibilities of project managing as well as doing take-offs and estimating.
Jessica Watwood: CenState’s Project Management Assistant. She is responsible for entering bids into the computer, processing transmittals of shop drawings, project scheduling on Suretrak, putting together Operations and Maintenance Manuals, preparing material releases, purchase orders and subcontract agreements; as well as communication (telephone, fax, e-mail) liaison with subcontractors and suppliers.
Donna McCarty: Office Manager and personal assistant to Scott Short. Office manager oversees all Human Resources, payroll and benefits, insurance matters, receivables and taxes. She processes contract documents, bid proposals, pay applications and all correspondence. She oversees the everyday operations of the office.
Sharon Parsons: CenState’s bookkeeper. She processes the accounts payable and payroll. She works with the project managers on material releases, purchase orders and subcontract agreements, change orders and invoices. She is responsible for lien releases. The bookkeeper and the office manager work together in several areas of the financial operations of the company.
